if only we had a level creator

I have completed it two times already it is a very fun game with ultra responsive controls and with some well thought out puzzle-like levels I still have a nitpick (but that is what it is a nitpick) when you jump over the top of the screen  you can´t really see where your character is so I sometimes miss my jump and fall to my doom (I really didn´t know how to word that properly) but other than that it is pretty good and I really hope you expand on this because it has a lot of potential.

fun fun

Amazing love the game, love the art, the sound effects, level design. is very good game :D

(+2)

Great game, I would love to see more levels or a level editor!

This game is very enjoyable! Also, I really like the responsive controls

(+4)

What a masterpiece. Does the game just stop (I finished the final level) or is there an ending?

(+1)

There is an ending. I noticed that after the final level the game just freezes, but if I press Esc twice to go to the menu and then choose "Continue" the ending screens shows up.

(+1)

Quite a unique concept, I really like it !

(+1)

I love this game!! It has great art, and stays so consistant with the platforming!

(+2)

very nice

(+1)

great game!

(+2)

This game is so good. I would pay money for it, gonna recommend to my friends.

(+2)

Love this game! The level design and overall feel is great. Would love to license this on CoolmathGames.com. Please email us at games@coolmath.com if you're interested in discussing further!

Very fun to play, with nice puzzle! Also, I dedicate this comment to the little "Phew!" that make the character when you finish the level right before dying. :)

(+1)

I could play for hours (maybe I have maybe I haven't lol)

(+3)

such a great game ! very creative level design

(+1)

Nice puzzle platformer!

(+1)

This was a blast! The animation is both adorable and wonderful. I feel that having enemies being capable of killing you doesn’t lend itself to any mechanics though

(+1)

Incredible game, reminds me of the olden gems, this could have kept many a child occupied for days a few decades ago, get some more levels in there (there are already so many!) and some more mechanics, and this would be a great full game!

(+2)

thanks! i'm working on a full version actually. it feels like writing a long love letter to videogames.

It really seems like it, reminds me of the games the game grumps would play. Like kirby dream golf and such.

Wow this is an incredible idea and even better execution. Great way of naturally teaching the mechanics! I am so wowed with how good this game is!

thanks so much!

Sorry for the off-topic post, but you're the same Gustav who made Fantastic Blood Boy, right? I downloaded that game many years ago and loved it.

lol happy you liked it! yeah that was me :)

Hi can u tell me what window size u use and sprite bit u use im new on Game maker and wanna make some fun game ^^ i like this style but im total newbite :) sry for bad eng

(+1)

the window size for this game is 480x320, not sure what you mean by sprite bit but the program i'm using to sprite and animate is aseprite. it's easy and intuitive to use. good luck with your games!

(1 edit)

I mean sprite size 16x16? or 32? maybe 8x8 :) and thanks i use aseprite too really like.

yeah sprites i generally keep at 16x16 but i never keep within any strict boundaries. 8, 16, 32, 64, whatever you fancy will work :)
